Privacy Policy

You opt in, you own the exit. We collect the least we need to send you what you asked for and to learn which work lands — and we never sell it. This page says exactly what that means.

Who we are

This site (temerarii.xyz, the "Lab") is operated by Temerarii Media ("we", "us"), a studio based in San Antonio, Texas, USA. For any privacy question or request, email dominique@temerarii.com.

What we collect

1. Analytics (everyone)

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages and experiments get used. This records standard usage data — pages viewed, approximate location (from IP, not stored by us in identifiable form), device and browser type, referring link, and in-page events such as a sign-up — using cookies and similar technologies. The analytics library loads only after you interact with the page or after it has finished loading, so it never blocks the page.

2. If you join the list (only if you choose to)

When you submit the form at /join or on the home page, we collect:

• your email address;
• which opt-ins you selected (newsletter, Academy waitlist, and/or "follow the build");
• an optional interest you pick;
• how you arrived — campaign/UTM tags in the link, the referring page, and a timestamp — so we can tell which content earned the sign-up.

You choose each opt-in explicitly. We don't pre-tick anything that sends you mail you didn't ask for.

3. Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, time) for security and reliability. These are ordinary web-server records, not a profile we build on you.

How we use it

• To send you only what you opted into (the newsletter, Academy updates, or the channel links).
• To measure which content and experiments are worth making more of.
• To keep the site secure and working.

We do not sell your personal data, and we don't rent your attention back to you. We don't run third-party ad-tracking pixels on this site.

Who processes it for us

We use a small set of service providers purely to run the things above:

• Vercel — website hosting.
• Google Analytics — usage analytics.
• Resend — sending the emails you opted into.
• Airtable / Supabase — storing your subscription and preferences in our own first-party records.
• Cloudflare R2 — serving media files.

Each only handles what it needs to for that job.

Cookies

The analytics above sets cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, use a private window, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on. The site's own features (like remembering you've seen the intro this session) use ordinary browser storage and don't track you across sites.

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe anytime — every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and it takes effect immediately.
• Access, correct, or delete the data we hold on you — email dominique@temerarii.com and we'll handle it.
• Depending on where you live (e.g. the EU/UK or California), you may have additional rights to access, port, or delete your data, and to opt out of "sale" — which we don't do. Email us to exercise any of them.

Retention

We keep subscription data for as long as you're on the list, and remove or anonymize it on request. Analytics data follows Google Analytics' standard retention settings.

Children

This site isn't directed to children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Material changes to how we handle your data will be noted here.
